Climate action in day-to-day operations

We record the emissions from our business operations and implement measures to reduce them. In addition, we support selected climate protection projects, as we also generate emissions that we cannot currently avoid in full.

Inclusion of selected sustainability aspects in investment decisions

In the context of our mandates, we take ecological, social and corporate-ethics aspects (ESG) into account where desired. The specific implementation is individual and depends on the respective investment guidelines. In selected mandates, investments with intended social or ecological impact can also be considered, provided this is consistent with the clients’ objectives and requirements.

Foundation activities

We not only support foundations in the allocation of their assets and the implementation of their charitable purposes, but also engage actively in governing bodies (for example, board of trustees and executive board roles).

At our locations, we source electricity from renewable energy sources according to the information provided by our energy supplier.
CO₂ accounting and implementation of measures to reduce emissions

The Lighthouse Foundation is committed to the protection and sustainable use of the seas and oceans. It promotes awareness of the central importance of the oceans in the global ecological system and the urgent need for a holistic approach to coastal regions.

Horst Müggenburg Stiftung

The Horst Müggenburg Stiftung supports scientific work and research at the Children’s Cancer Center in Hamburg and sponsors the Ronald McDonald House in Hamburg, which provides a temporary home for families of seriously ill children.
